Seiko 5 Sports GMT SSK001 "Black Dial" Automatic - Full Set - SOLD

The Seiko 5 Sports GMT takes one of Seiko's most recognizable sports-watch designs and adds one of the most useful complications in everyday watchmaking: a second time zone.

The black dial retains the familiar SKX-inspired layout, with oversized LumiBrite markers, broad luminous hands and a magnified date window at 3 o'clock. A bold red GMT hand provides an immediate visual contrast and works with the rotating black-and-gray 24-hour bezel to track an additional time zone.

Inside is Seiko's 4R34 automatic GMT movement, featuring automatic and manual winding, hacking seconds, 24 jewels and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. The movement can be viewed through the exhibition caseback.

The stainless-steel case measures 42.5mm, but the relatively compact 46mm lug-to-lug helps it wear smaller than that diameter might suggest. Seiko pairs it with its excellent five-row Jubilee-style stainless bracelet, one of the details that gives the SSK001 so much vintage SKX personality.
