Omega Seamaster Professional 200M “Pre-Bond” Two-Tone Champagne Dial – Vintage Omega Set

Before the Seamaster Diver 300M became one of Omega’s most recognizable watches — and before James Bond put one on his wrist — there was this.

The Omega Seamaster Professional 200M, now commonly known among collectors as the “Pre-Bond,” represents an interesting transitional period in Omega’s dive-watch history. Its integrated bracelet, distinctive bezel and unmistakably late-1980s/early-1990s styling give it a personality completely different from the Seamaster models that followed.

This two-tone example may be one of the more interesting configurations of the bunch. The stainless-steel case and bracelet are accented with gold-tone elements, including the crown, bracelet details and bezel, while the champagne dial ties the entire package together. Applied luminous hour markers, sword-style hands and the date window at 3 o’clock complete the classic Seamaster Professional layout.

It is unapologetically vintage Omega — and that's exactly the appeal.

Condition

This is a pre-owned vintage watch and shows age and wear consistent with its era.

The case and bracelet retain an attractive overall presentation, with normal scratches, marks and wear visible from use. The bezel shows age and wear, including deterioration to portions of its markings and finish. The champagne dial also displays visible aging/patina when viewed closely.

We have intentionally photographed the watch in detail so its condition can be evaluated accurately. We would much rather show the character of a vintage watch than attempt to hide it.
