Seiko Prospex Baby Alpinist – Green Dial – 38mm

The Seiko Prospex SPB155J1—affectionately known among collectors as the “Baby Alpinist”—captures the adventurous character of Seiko’s celebrated Alpinist line in a cleaner, more compact design.

Its richly textured forest-green dial is accented by warm, vintage-inspired numerals and markers, distinctive cathedral-style hands and a framed date window at 3 o’clock. The combination gives the watch the unmistakable character of a classic field watch while remaining refined enough for everyday wear.

At 38mm, the stainless-steel case offers excellent proportions and wears comfortably across a wide range of wrist sizes. A curved sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screw-down crown and 200-meter water resistance provide genuine go-anywhere capability.

Inside is Seiko’s caliber 6R35 automatic movement, offering hand-winding, hacking seconds and an impressive power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The watch is fitted to its original stainless-steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp.

This example presents attractively with light signs of previous wear consistent with normal, careful use. It includes the pictured presentation box.
