An exceptional example of Hamilton’s discontinued black titanium Khaki Field Automatic — and quite possibly one of the cleanest you’ll find.
This Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Automatic, ref. H705751, combines classic military-inspired Hamilton styling with an exceptionally lightweight 42mm titanium case finished in black PVD. The result is a substantial-looking field watch that wears surprisingly light and comfortable on the wrist.
The matte black dial features Hamilton’s highly legible field-watch layout with large luminous Arabic numerals, an inner 24-hour scale, minute track and date window at 3 o’clock. The all-black case, crown and hardware give this particular version a stealthier appearance than the traditional stainless Khaki Field.
Condition
This example is exceptionally clean and possibly unworn. We can find virtually no evidence of meaningful wrist wear. The black case finish presents beautifully, the sapphire crystal is excellent, and the dial, hands, crown and caseback all show extremely well.
The original strap and deployant clasp are similarly clean.
Given its age, we prefer not to represent the watch definitively as “unworn” without knowing its complete history, but its condition certainly suggests little, if any, actual use.

The automatic movement is running beautifully.
On our timegrapher, the watch recorded:

What really separates this example is its completeness.
Originally purchased in September 2019, it comes as an impressive full set including the original Hamilton presentation box, outer packaging, dated retailer warranty card, hang tag, literature, original fitted strap/deployant and additional Hamilton strap, all as pictured.
The combination of the discontinued reference, outstanding condition and unusually complete package makes this a particularly desirable example for the Hamilton collector.
